At Paisoo, we are building Nepal's most secure network for founders, business owners, and investors. Our Trust & Safety systems are designed to eliminate fraud, protect confidential data, and foster serious commercial relationships.

1. The Verification Process

We strongly encourage all users to verify their identity. Our verification process checks:

• Phone Verification: Ensuring the user has a registered, active Nepali mobile number.
• Document Authenticity: Our automated systems scan government IDs for tampering, holograms, and expiration dates.
• Biometric Liveness: A quick selfie video ensures the person matches the ID and is physically present.

Note: While Paisoo verifies identity, we do not audit the operational or financial claims made in a business listing.

2. Fraud Prevention for Buyers

Protect yourself by following these core principles during due diligence:

• Never send money before a contract: Never wire funds, pay "booking fees," or transfer crypto before signing a formalized commercial agreement drafted by legal counsel.
• Verify physical premises: For physical business acquisitions (like restaurants or hotels), always visit the location in person and verify the lease agreement with the landlord.
• Request official tax filings: Do not rely solely on self-reported revenue numbers. Always request official IRD (Inland Revenue Department) tax clearance certificates during the NDA phase.

3. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Our community relies on shared vigilance. If you encounter a listing that seems fraudulent, a user who asks for money upfront, or someone attempting to circumvent NDAs, please use the Report Listing flag located at the bottom of every page.

Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Accounts found violating our Trust & Safety guidelines will face immediate and permanent bans.
