At Paisoo, we take your privacy and data security seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our marketplace and Deal Room platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you.

• Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password hash.
• KYC & Identity Data: Government-issued ID numbers (Citizenship/Passport), biometric liveness data, and registered business documents (PAN/VAT). This is collected solely for fraud prevention and badge verification.
• Financial & Business Data: Profit and Loss statements, revenue metrics, cap tables, and pitch decks uploaded to the Confidential Vault.
• Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, interaction with listings, and search history to improve platform algorithms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to operate and improve the Paisoo platform, specifically to:

• Facilitate connections between buyers, sellers, founders, and investors.
• Enforce our Terms of Service, electronic NDAs, and prevent fraudulent activity.
• Process KYC verifications and issue “Verified Seller/Buyer” badges.
• Generate anonymized, aggregated market analytics for business valuations in Nepal.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

Paisoo does not sell your personal data to third parties. We only share information under the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: When you list a business or pitch, public metrics are shared. Confidential Vault documents are strictly shared only with users who have explicitly signed an NDA and been granted access by you.
• Service Providers: We employ third-party cloud infrastructure (e.g., Supabase, AWS) and KYC compliance partners who are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by Nepali law enforcement or regulatory authorities via a valid subpoena or court order.

4. The Confidential Vault & NDA System

The Paisoo Vault is designed to give sellers complete control over their sensitive operational and financial data. You maintain the right to grant or revoke access to any buyer at any time. Paisoo employees do not access Vault contents unless investigating a reported fraud case or technical issue.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your account, you may do so from your Account Settings. Upon deletion, all public listings and confidential Vault documents are permanently purged from our primary servers within 30 days.
